Willy Goat is not done yet, but already they are having a blast

I realize it's October...we just can't get enough : )

 

My boy can't get enough either. He's found a deep love for the beach. Now, when we read Good Night Moon at night he has to say "night night beach" and every morning he asks me "beach, Momma?"

 

When we were there on Friday every time we tried to leave he'd go throw himself in the water. It became a game to him. So finally I had to wait till right before we walked off the beach and I ended up carrying him soaking wet from the ocean straight to the car...and even then the little turkey tried his best to wiggle out of my arms. Then as we drove away he was waving and saying "bye bye beach". My goodness, I've created a monster.

and now today we're in long sleeves.....blah!

Under my feet!

On any given day this is where you'll find Josiah at around 5:00 pm.....

This is where he waits for dinner. No kidding he literally lays on the floor in the kitchen under my feet.  I've tried to get him to wait somewhere else. I've tried distracting him while I'm cooking. I've tried everything, but he ends up right here every time and he seems pretty content to be there. Go figure.

It's official...the lowcountry has sucked me in. I'm in love with the place. I totally understand why everyone kept telling me "oh, you are going to love living here!" ...guess they were right : )
