Yesterday, I drove my "baby" to Hammond, LA to be sworn in to The Air National Guard. Just 18 years ago on the 14th I was giving birth and here I am watching him become a man. This is much harder than I thought it would be. I'm already worrying about how he will make it through boot camp. I know he will make it but, I can't imagine a Drill Sargent yelling at him every day and the food must be horrible and the physical fitness must be gruelling. All right... Enough. He's in God's hands. I'll just be on my knees a lot. He's talked about joining the military for the last three years so, I'm proud that he is on his way to achieving his goals. I'll be much better when boot camp is over....
