some good news and update to prayer request

Hey guys, great news today. My mother in law's Pet Scan results ruled out stage 4 cancer. Praise Jesus. We still don't know if the cancer is in the lymph nodes (which would be stage 3 and require chemo) until the surgery. Her surgery is tomorrow at 9:30 here in Slidell. Please keep praying. We leave Thursday morning for China.  I'm a bit overwhelmed by all of this. She means so much to me and I want to be here to help her because I know how scared she is of surgery. She's never had surgery. It's just hard for me. I'm the caretaker : ) I want to hold her hand and be by her side. I know the rest of our family will pull together and be there for her. It's just not going to be me and I don't like that.

We are believing that the cancer is not in the lymph nodes and that she will not need chemotherapy. Please join us in prayer for her surgeon to guide him and give him wisdom, for no complications to the surgery, no cancer in the lymph nodes and for her to make a full and complete recovery.

Thank you for praying for her. Please also pray for peace for her and for us.

I love you guys and appreciate your prayers.
