We were so blessed to have two little girls from the African Children's Choir stay with us for two days last week. They were a delight. Izzy enjoyed their company so much. She was sad to see them leave on Friday. I always enjoy hosting the children when they come to town but this time we didn't have a spare room for them. So, they slept in Izzy's bedroom. Which means Izzy slept with Rob and I. This was not good. I had no idea she was so difficult to sleep with. The only time we've all slept together was for one day during the last hurricane and we were all so exhausted we didn't notice. She not only kicked me, kneed me, elbowed me but at some point I woke up with her toes up my nose. It was awful. On the second night she went to bed sleeping between us and some kind of way she fell out of the bed on my side. I have no idea how that happened. So, by Friday I was elated that the girls were leaving only because I was so sleep deprived. They are truly the sweetest children. It's hard to believe that they are orphans because they have such a vibrant happy spirit about them. It just goes to show you that the Music for Life program makes a huge difference. They are finishing up the North American tour. If they come anywhere near your home town, go see them. You will really enjoy it.
