Our first field trip

We went to Global Wildlife yesterday. The weather was beautiful and Izzy had a blast. She loved feeding the animals. Gran Mimi came with us, so Izzy had fun in the gift shop too. :) Thanks Gran Mimi.

Relaxing at the beach....

Have you read this yet????

I read it this weekend while we were in Navarre Beach (pictures coming....) and it was incredible. It's funny because all in one day, Izzy's Nana told me about it via email, Rob leaves here to go get my break tag and the lady that runs the break tag place says " Hey, have you read The Shack yet?" and then he comes back and tells me that and a little while later I get an email from a friend and she says "Hey, you read The Shack, right?" So, I took the hint and bought it and it was just awesome.

So much better !!!

A lot can happen in a few days....

This was Izzy all of last week.... poor baby. She barely got off of the couch.

And by Saturday night she was peeling shrimp and picking crabs. And I was completely amazed. I knew that she was able to pick her own crabs but I had no idea that she could peel her own shrimp too. A true Louisiana girl !!

And tonight, big brother Ryan got back from Disney World and brought Izzy the biggest pink princess sucker. She is one happy girl. Big brownie points Rymo....

Thank you all for your prayers. We are feeling much much better.

We're Alive... Barely

Yes, we are still alive. Hanging on by a thread. Please pray for my sanity and for healing of course, but really my sanity first. At this point it's more important than feeling better. This has been the worse week. We've been to the emergency room, I've been puked on, pooped on. Oh, it's been rough. Izzy has had bronchitis and gave it to me. So, high fevers, nasty antibiotics that kept her throwing up for two days until we switched it and major pooping issues. Lord, give me strength. It's been 15 years since I've had a toddler but, boy it all comes rushing back to you. Yesterday we started improving though. There is a light at the end of the tunnel and I don't think it's a train. We have to get better because we're going to spend a few days in Navarre Beach a week from tomorrow. Izzy has been "grumbly" as I call it. No one can believe that since she normally has the sweetest personality. I swear - big time grumbly. "Calgon, take me away !!"
Chopstick Chicks - We can't make it to the Pumpkin Patch. Have a wonderful time. We will miss being there with you.
